Last night an angel lay at my side
Perfect in form, gracefully poised
Innocence untainted, peacefully unconscious, blissful
An angel spawn from love,
Of angel and demon wrapped in human skins
Last night I saw an earth bound angel
Silent, unaware of his divinity
A testament to spirituality
Unaware of how narrowly he may not have been
Thankful for this gift, I touch, I experience,
The gift of being touched by an angel
An angel with no wings, no halo, no robes
Earthly angel Gabriel
Bask in celestial glow
When you wake, I'll will be here
A test to see, can I give you care
Can I shape this angel to be
Everything better than me
Rest my angel, while I lay here
Smile at you and touch your face
Amazed at this obtrusive grace
This Strong, Intelligent, Gift of Faith
I have of late taken the view that no matter how rebellious, unconventional, non-conformist we would like to think ourselves, we are at some point always part of a similar grouping of people. We are never truly leaders, but followers. Followers, I prefer to refer to us as sheep; because at one point or another in our life we are all sheep. This is a place to express myself, vent my frustration with the sheepdom, and relieve my boredom. It is my therapy for all that contributes to my neurosis.
