Sometimes what we see when we close our eyes is some much
more comforting than what is right before our opened eyes. Close eyes help you
disappear for a moment and forget the ugly out there. Create your perfect world
behind your eyelids; take away all struggles, all disappointment. Sometimes,
just lying there with your eyes close is all you can do to not face what waits
for you when they’re open. Today is one of those days when I wanted to hide
